Transferring your design onto Lino

Lino cut prints can sometimes lack a bit of personality. If like me, you want to take a more naturally sketched or drawn approach, try my method below to add some extra flair and individuality to your design.

    1. With a black felt tipped marker, draw your design onto tracing paper or Japanese    calligraphy paper.
        2. When finished, turn the page upside down so the image appears backwards.
      3. Copy the backwards design with a black felt tipped marker directly onto your  piece of Lino  freehand, using your page as reference.
       4. When finished drawing your design, heat up the lino and get cutting!
